5 Ways to Make Your Customers Feel Special with Stickerapp

Not everyone sells in the traditional sense but even if you blog or have any kind of visible social media presence you’re still selling. Why not make an effort to make your customers feel special, appreciated and taken care of?
When you post a photo on Instagram you’re selling your personal brand. Thank your followers by responding to their comments and throwing some love their way on their own accounts. When you post a blog post you’re selling content. Make your readers or customers feel special by tailoring your advice to their specific needs.
There are so many ways to pay it forward and so many tools and resources out there to help you do it. For me, it’s very important that I give my audience and my customers a full on experience. I don’t want to just take their time and their money and run. Today, I want to share how I’m doing just that with the help of Stickerapp!
What is Stickerapp
You may have heard of Caseapp but not Stickerapp. If so, don’t worry. I’ve partnered with Caseapp on a couple of occasions and created custom phone cases that were uniquely me! This time around I developed custom sticker designs made from one of my free wallpapers and another exclusive design yet to be released.
The user interface is really easy to use and offers a bunch of pre-made design features in case you don’t know what to create. It also allows you to pick from a variety of sticker finishes that include, glossy, transparent, mirror, brushed alloy, craft paper, and wall style. Prices start at $25 for a set of 100 for 2″x1″ and 6 for their largest 8″x4″ size. They also offer custom sizes and shape options like squares, rounded corners, circles, and contour.
No matter what you’re looking for you’re bound to find a sticker design that suits your needs!
Packaging & Presentation
In case you’re unaware, blogging isn’t my only creative outlet. I’m also an abstract artist that showcases my work on Instagram and sells through my shop as well as other avenues. For me, it’s very important that I don’t just focus on the “selling” aspect of things. After all, that would be totally icky and not at all cool.
One way that I make my customers feel special is by taking a moment to present the work they receive in a pleasant way. For digital sellers, you can achieve this by including printable add-ons, for physical sellers you can splurge on a pretty box to place your work in. Bloggers might take a second to make sure their site design is up to snuff.
The way you present your product, whatever it may be, goes a long way. How people perceive you and how they remember you is entirely based on how they were made to feel during their interaction with you. (Click to Tweet)
Personal Touches
Personal touches! I can stress enough how impactful a personal touch can be. After all, who doesn’t love a handwritten note or a thoughtful compliment? People love when you go that extra mile and show that you’re thinking about them. We’re all a little selfish and when someone caters to our needs it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy.
For me, I achieve this in a couple of ways. Along with each painting, you receive a handwritten thank you note from me. You also receive a note detailing the back story of that particular painting. I name all my paintings after songs so you’ll get info on what role that particular song played in its creation as well as other tidbits. Giving insight into the behind the scenes process is another example of how you can make your customers feel special.
Now, you’ll also get complimentary Stickerapp stickers, one with my signature phrase “Stay Vivid & Vibrant” written in a font made from my handwriting!
Rewards & Perks
Everyone likes a deal. The only thing better than a deal is a loyalty rewards program and the added perks that come with it. Make your customers feel special by showering them with added benefits just for being awesome! Theses supporters are literally supporting you financially. They allow you do go ahead and do what you do. Without them, you wouldn’t be able to let that unicorn flag fly and prance off into the sunset knowing that your bills are allll the way paid! If nothing else, they deserve a little extra love thrown their way. For some it could be a points system that customers cash in for benefits, it could be early access to sales, or anything else you can think of. With my customers, I pay it forward by releasing secret sales that only they know about. Want in? Then you have to join the email list!
Insurance or Assurance
No one likes returns. No one likes to notice a problem with their order. Still, both of these things happen. Make your customers feel special by making them feel taken care of. My paintings range in price and for those that go in the 100+ dollar range, I offer a comprehensive policy. If someone is willing to invest in me in that way then it’s only right that I invest in their peace of mind. (Click to Tweet)
In particular, if someone orders a commissioned painting they’re putting a lot of faith in me. They’re essentially purchasing something that doesn’t exist yet. It’s all very intangible until their vision is brought to life. Dissuade their misgivings by addressing all their needs and assuring them that (within reason) if something goes wrong you’ve got their back!
Relationship Building
There are many different ways to keep fostering a relationship with your customers. The easiest way is to get them signed up to your mailing list. That way you have a direct line to them. However, not everyone will be on that list. So what else can you do?
Depending on what you sell you can offer follow-up calls, you can chat with them in person or even support their endeavors. You can even include custom Stickapp stickers. I like the idea of using it as a way to build a community and offer patrons a way to feel like they’re repping the Violet Roots brand, mentality, and movement.
For me, I also include social media links, offer a discount on a future purchase, mention the email list and invite them to stay in touch by writing me back. Snail mail doesn’t have to be dead! Since I write a note with each painting they’re more than welcome to write me back. Or they can hit me up via email as well – whatever works!
The main thing to take away here is that you just have to cater to your people. It can be a collection of small gestures or a grander show of your appreciation. (Click to Tweet) Whatever makes sense for you and your audience.
